Gaming Modern and Hypothetical Conflict

MCS Group is looking for contributors with an interest in modern conflict for a new project we are starting to work. More specifically, we are looking for writers, game designer/developers, and graphic artists. Sorry I can't be much more specific than that yet. If interested, please contact me at jbcompton@mcsgroup.org. Signing of a non-disclosure agreement will be required.

WHERE THERE IS DISCORD hit by doorstep last week. What an incredible looking game. Who would have thunk you could do a game of this size and quality on the Falklands War? It's a solitaire game, so I think I'm going to try to get my landing force onto San Carlos--

I guess I need to get a Georgia-Russia-South Ossetia scenario out the door for the Warfighter series, eh? Let me see what I can whip up this weekend, but the Manuever Warrior box ought to have enough of the right bits and pieces to work with, eh?

You have to be an absolute piece of crap, with no respect for history or decency, to pull off this crime: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8423827.stm My only joy is that the five semi-humans who committed the crime were caught, along with what t…

Here's a really good reason why the NFL should be concerned about brain trauma. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09291/1006418-66.stm He's still listed as one of the outstanding graduates of my old school, Shady Side Academy, but he's not quite the…

No they're not, not Super Bowl winners. Some members of the defense need a major attitude adjustment too, especially about standards and excuses.

They are really a not very good team this year.

The Steelers used an onside kick today, and almost snatched defeat from the jaws of mediocrity too. It's a big reason why Roethlisberger could throw for 500 yards and still need the last play of the game to win, by one point.

Hold the line by Worthington games. A GREAT simple revolutionary war game, similar to Command and Colors, but uses Action Points instead of cards. You can move any unit you want with your points. (Similar to Conflict of heroes)
