Is anyone in the Mesa/AJ area?
Jim Millard Comment by Jim Millard on October 30, 2009 at 6:23am
Hey guys...

I know I'm from MN, but I'm going to keep coming here, and am looking to link up with another gamer or 2 [hey, Rick!]. Does that count as an AZ gamer? :^D

Would be interested in getting together at the once a month pace, but please don't make it on the second Saturday of the month! The East Valley gaming group meets then (now at ASU), and it is the remnants of the club John K started back in the early 90's. If anyone is interested in the details, send me an email at pvt_dix@yahoo.com. We play most any game at the meetings, and one or our newest members (Mario) hosts it at the dorm he is RA for. Free pizza and drinks, it's a great deal!

I've got the CC series and would like to play, also have Command and Colors Ancients, World At War is a hoot, really playable system.
Also have some of the newer "Risk" clones that are actually pretty fun to play, Dust and World War IV. I'd like to give A Most Dangerous Time a crack and perhaps dig out Warriors of God again..open to almost anything if we can get folks together somewhere...

Next step would be to select a game or games for the first event. Please post your suggestions. Let's see what we can come up with.

Warren if you'd let us know what dates in July work for you to host please...

You have to be an absolute piece of crap, with no respect for history or decency, to pull off this crime: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8423827.stm My only joy is that the five semi-humans who committed the crime were caught, along with what t…

No they're not, not Super Bowl winners. Some members of the defense need a major attitude adjustment too, especially about standards and excuses.

They are really a not very good team this year.

The Steelers used an onside kick today, and almost snatched defeat from the jaws of mediocrity too. It's a big reason why Roethlisberger could throw for 500 yards and still need the last play of the game to win, by one point.

Hold the line by Worthington games. A GREAT simple revolutionary war game, similar to Command and Colors, but uses Action Points instead of cards. You can move any unit you want with your points. (Similar to Conflict of heroes)
