Nate, do you still need a proofreader ? Sorry for the delay, but i stumbled upon your comment like 2 minutes ago...

Gerald, or anyone,
My translator friend in Germany will not be finishing his project. I have asked a Swiss gamer who has the 3/4 complete version to finish it. If he agrees, I now need a proofreader.

They took the vow of silence... sorry...:P
I believe it was an effort to keep piracy down to a minimum. There is an electronic Japanese set on BGG however.
Not real mediaval though. There are Cyberboard, AdC2 and Vassal versions.

Holy cow !

This sounds so medieval to me. How much do you pay to those poor monks for making copies of your manuscript ? :-)
(Don't take this too serious, i am just jokin)

One problem is there are no electronic copies of the english rules. That is why I am first asking gamers who already own a hard copy of the rulebook.

Okay...bring em on, pages !!!

That is the problem as I understand it. The more trained eyes that see it and also know the game jargon that it alludes to, the better. I have had to, from a designer POV, answer questions better suited to a language diplomat :)

Oh - that's great then. I've seen some real bad translations in the past, but i guess those germans/swiss do a great job then. :)

Gerald,
I f you are interested I expect to recieve the last two pages by Christmas. I have found one willing proofreader and this translator through the Boardgamegeek service. The gamers live in Germany and Switzerland that have offered this help. One of the reasons he wanted the translation was for the German based club. No link sorry. I'll try linking them to this site.

Sounds great, Nate. If you want someone to proof-read, drop me a line.

No they're not, not Super Bowl winners. Some members of the defense need a major attitude adjustment too, especially about standards and excuses.

They are really a not very good team this year.

The Steelers used an onside kick today, and almost snatched defeat from the jaws of mediocrity too. It's a big reason why Roethlisberger could throw for 500 yards and still need the last play of the game to win, by one point.

Hold the line by Worthington games. A GREAT simple revolutionary war game, similar to Command and Colors, but uses Action Points instead of cards. You can move any unit you want with your points. (Similar to Conflict of heroes)
