Thanks for tips! However I've already spent up big in a local boardgame sale

Tony,

If you don't want to wait until February to try the MPBS, you may still have time to get Gustav Adolph for the sale price ($35.00...a great deal). I think this is the last day of the sale.

I haven't played the musket & Pike series but I've heard good things about it However when I saw that vol 5 was about the Scanian War, I pre-ordered it quicker than a thirsty man downing a beer at a pub! I've been interested in the Scanian war after reading a very good article in a Miniature Wargaming magazine about the Battle of Lund.

I really like this series, one of my favorite tactical wargame series. So even though I am brand spankin' new to CSW social networking I decided to create this group. Perhaps we can get Ben Hull or some of the other designers working this series now to drop by, but at any rate we can enjoy discussing the games in this series.

Just in case anyone did not realize... there is a folder for this series on CSW.

Welcome!

You have to be an absolute piece of crap, with no respect for history or decency, to pull off this crime: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8423827.stm My only joy is that the five semi-humans who committed the crime were caught, along with what t…

No they're not, not Super Bowl winners. Some members of the defense need a major attitude adjustment too, especially about standards and excuses.

They are really a not very good team this year.

The Steelers used an onside kick today, and almost snatched defeat from the jaws of mediocrity too. It's a big reason why Roethlisberger could throw for 500 yards and still need the last play of the game to win, by one point.

Hold the line by Worthington games. A GREAT simple revolutionary war game, similar to Command and Colors, but uses Action Points instead of cards. You can move any unit you want with your points. (Similar to Conflict of heroes)
