The MMP demo area was right next to the GMT one. i can see how they might get confused...:) I only saw one game of AVD played at the con but it was out and for sale and seemed to be under a lot of peoples arms as they carried their games around. Lots of Bravery in the Sands were played though...

Ooops. MMP demo area, I meant! I think I had the little table signs stuck in memory that had GMT on them.

I saw a few people playing it as I walked around. It was at the GMT demo area a lot of the week and I saw one or two plays there as well.

So AVD made it in time for WBC?

Did it get any playings there?

A game that makes you think?! Oh, the horror! :)
Adam Starkweather Comment by Adam Starkweather on May 7, 2009 at 5:08am
Thanks, Matt! The game is a bit more open than most by design and needs players to think somewhat (which is why it is generating so many Qs) but it is a very rewarding experience to play.

A Most Dangerous Time was dropped on my rainy doorstep this morning...Quicklook impressions: Rules, more than WoG but clean and concise. Map: Ichi-Ban... Counters, Superb and Readable. Cards: SOP/Setup/Leader cards a bit fuzzy and hard to read (might be these old eyes), but the event cards are excellent! Overall, Well Done!

Getting AVD out the door first but I am working on WED as well. I have the maps now and just need to proof them and send corrections to Niko. I would bet I get it all to MMP in late May - MMP should be pretty quick about getting it done and out the door.

Turn before Barbarossa ends, Even with killing a lot of Russians come spring 42 it was too late. He'd only taken Keiv and Oddessa when we called it.

On Monday night Tehran and Konark fell - a good turn for the Reds. Having Konark is especially sweet as I've got two airbases to fly in and I'll put 3 MIG 23's on intercept on one base and two MIG 23's and a Backfire on offensive on the other. The...

You'v got OPERATION BARBAROSSA published by Matrix. It is inspired by Panzer General. It is a turn based, Hex based, simple, attractive and challenging enough for a beginner. I think it is a good start. I have the game, played it and liked it. Koo...

Robert, if you're talking about AAR's (after action reports), I'm sure boardgamegeek has some. Go to www.boardgamegeek.com and on their main window, just type in the game you're interested in. They'll then show you different game covers if there a...
