Hey all, thanks for all the kind words and motivation Sorry I haven't been around the site as much. It's hard to get on the internet around here. Hope to home again and gaming sometime later this year.

Yeah, just Wow! It's like going to the house of that friend you had when you were little, who had every toy there was, and then going home to a couple Tonka trucks in a sandbox. Sigh...life does not change.

Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
I just got into wargames recently. I guess my introduction into consim gaming would be World at War: Eisenbach Gap. I do remember playing Fortress America with my friend Adam back when I was in seventh grade. Does that count.
Your favorite game(s):
Commands and Colors: Ancients
World at War
Hold the Line
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
I'd really like to try Combat Commander: Pacific (or Europe for that matter). Haven't played it yet. I also own Europe Engulfed and have yet to play it. Need to find an opponent. My Wife's a trooper but that one is beyond her patience.
About Me
I've been in the Marine Corps since graduating from Penn State in '94.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Love running (free therapy). Anything outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing etc.)

Well sweet! And if she has any hesitation, tell here there are quite a few wives playing CC with their hubbys. I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of husband-wife teams playing the game.

If your wife will try block games, start her out on FAB: Bulge instead of Europe Engulfed. It is less overwhelming and has a great starter scenario.

Fortress America - only counts if it was the hard map version!
