No I have not. Kai asked me the same question today. Consider getting No Retreat from VPG - it's worth your time in general.

Simple so far - the maps suck per usual with a Glantz book and several early dumb errors - also par for the course. His writing at times is "dense".

Hi Bill,

Roger had informed me of your interest and I had responded to you. I will be emailing you information about VAGL. I am currently revising the rules presentation. As soon as I get that done, I will email them to you.

OK, I guess that makes sense. As long as the unit has the movement points to leave the formation it's in, and enter the formation it want to go to, it seems logical that it should be able to do it. I was thinking that going from "Deliberate Assault…

You can make a single change to any formation, by paying the movement cost. I can know of no rule that states you must be in Movement to Contact, to make the change. David

The last rules issue we're debating is the "Formation Change" rule. The rules say that only one formation change per Game Turn is allowed. Scott interprets that to mean that a unit can go from Travel to Hasty Assault, for example, as a single form…

Anyone else have difficulty finding opponents available for online play (e.g., Vassal) during Pacific Time hours? I know I do. I though a group to help identify people who fit that profile might be useful to others.

DOWNTOWN is such, such a great game. Quite a puzzle for both sides. And I love how the scenarios show the progression of air vs air, air vs ground, and ground vs air technology over the years! ELUSIVE VICTORY looks so good as well!
