Your favorite game(s):
I like most of the block games I've ever played, and am still fond of the Europa series. Also a recent semi-convert to good Euros. Otherwise, I'm a wargaming generalist who likes to try just about anything once (but who can't stand poorly developed games).

Anyone interested in playing HotS, CR, R3, or any other Columbia block gime via Vassal? Real-time mode is preferred, due to the interactive nature of the games.
I recently traded away by PRESTAGS Master Pack, knowing full well that it would never hit my table again. It had probably been 15 years since it had been even set up, and more still than it had actually been played. But I know it's gone on to a go...
Chris -- What version of Mem'44 for the tournie? Basic game I assume? Will you publish the scenario in advance or will it be random? Finally, I assume each player needs to bring a copy?
About the only time that I would have for games is on a Saturday and even that is usually up in the air. You see I work at KCI on the overnight shift Sunday thru Thursday ergo I sleep most of the day Monday thru Friday. Since I don't have to go to work Friday night I help with the laundry. On Saturday morning I spend time with the wife by taking here out for breakfast and then we do our shopping for the week. Come Sunday I usually lay down for a nap around 2:00 or 3:00 so that I will be prepared tostay up all night Sunday and the cycle starts again.
Nice job with the promo for Barracks Battles. Thanks for posting it...hope we get to those who we haven't contacted as yet. Yep, anyway we can get us all together is a GOOD thang.
ok....figured it out! hehe. Yeah, I haven't played since you and I did. Seems like forever ago. Pretty busy even though retired but we need to try to do that sometime.
If you are writing about GMT's Eastern Front Series, check out that Group. This is for all the other games on the topic--strategic, operational, and tactical!
Hi fellas,
Noticed the release of Austerlitz this past week, very excited about this! I am plugging away at my Kursk campaign right now, quite the process.
Thanks for the review Eric and congrats on the book/journal Michael !
I don't have ASL nor am I a big East Front fan but I really appreciate everything you guys are doing for the hobby.
The game was finally started on Saturday. We're playing Scenario 2 of the original game, using the original rules, including all the optional rules listed in the rule book.
We were both VERY rusty, so it took about 2 1/2 hours just to set up, sin...
Got this in an e-mail today. I thought it was pretty funny. Happy Birthday to all my fellow Marines out there. OOH-RAH! Semper Fi
