Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
I am a relatively latecomer to this lobby. I started 'wargaming' in the late seventies with the Usborne Battle Books. I remembered re-fighting the Battle of Arsuf over and over again with my little sister. Later, I found SPI's 'Napoleon' in 1982 and Squad Leader in 1983-4. I played Avalon Hill's 'Alexander the Great' and a couple of others from 1985. Afterwards, I was lost in the RPG wilderness and collectible card hell for years. I eventually returned to wargaming in the mid-nineties. These days, I am just not very active.
Your favorite game(s):
I haven't played enough to name a favourite.
What game(s) have you played recently?
Nothing. I haven't played in a year or two.
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
Very little unfortunately.
How big is your game collection?
I think it is about a hundred items or so now.
Your local game club(s) and/or where you reside (let's network!)

Regarding your comment upon my Berlin Central Station photo: Yes, bicycles and cyling are quite popular in Germany, especially in university cities where lots of students and young people live. The bikeways are great and cyclists enjoy some privileges such as the permission to enter one-way streets from the wrong direction. Some cities even offer "bicycle streets" where bikes always have the right of way. In addition, mountain and race biking are extremely popular sports. Last but not least, more and more people commute by bike / train since the gasoline prices reached new heights this year.
