What have you purchased lately?

Just picked up Titan by Valley Games. Been forever since I played the original Titan and been wanting to pick up a copy for a while. Saw it yesterday and bought it.

Any decent PC-based hex-wargame?

Absolute best for me is The Operational Art of War. I just love the system and the best part is you can create scenarios if you cannot find one you like.

What are you playing?

Reading the rules to SPQR in the hopes of breaking it out and taking it for a spin. Always up for a game of Combat Commander. But the game series I have always wanted to play but never have been able…

No problem, I misread the rules originally and actually played it the way the errata has it spelled out. I noticed in the new release of the rules they have completely

I would have to go look through all my old stuff but I believe there was an optional rule put forth in regards to refueling. It did use the premise that if you chose to refuel you had to do a slow stop and in doing so you could replenish a set numbe…

The extra "stuff" can and will be ignored by this person. Just give me the basic and advanced F1 game and I don't need the extra street rules. :)

Rules as written for FD do not have a requirement for stopping in the straight. The requirement is to stop in the turns as many times as is printed on the board. You might think that will not slow you down but when you come flying into a 2 stop corn…

"D" is just a rerelease of "De" I think. I will know more tomorrow as I hope get race the wheels off of some locals.

I think this coud be the place for looking for PBEM opponents. Just start a discussion for the game you would like to play PBEM, or consult an already existing discussion if there is already one concerning the game you want to play

This group is for all the wargamers in South Carolina. I know of several individual groups in the state so I hope they can all come together under this group to discuss wargaming throughout the state.

Bought both of them and have been hooked ever since.

No they're not, not Super Bowl winners. Some members of the defense need a major attitude adjustment too, especially about standards and excuses.

They are really a not very good team this year.

The Steelers used an onside kick today, and almost snatched defeat from the jaws of mediocrity too. It's a big reason why Roethlisberger could throw for 500 yards and still need the last play of the game to win, by one point.

Hold the line by Worthington games. A GREAT simple revolutionary war game, similar to Command and Colors, but uses Action Points instead of cards. You can move any unit you want with your points. (Similar to Conflict of heroes)
