Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
Hmmm - I can't recall how I stumbled across it. Maybe Pieter de Wilde? Now Consim Social World was our friend Jon Compton who alerted me to its existence. All I know is I tend to visit it nearly every single day when I'm not TDY for the Army.
Your favorite game(s):
TRC?
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Ici, c'est la France! The Algerian War of Independence 1954-62 is now on the table. In many reviews I kevetch about counters that are difficult to remove, or get ripped no matter how careful you are in their removal. The counters for AWI were the easiest ever in all my years of playing to remove and separate. It was like a Johnson’s baby shampoo moment for there were no tears.
What game(s) have you played recently?
Soon to come:

Santiago Campaign
USAAF
RAF
Frontline General: Italian Campaign Introduction
Pursuit of Von Spee
DropShot
Asia Engulfed
Ranger
Guadacanal (Axis and Allies)
Bulge 20
Crisis 2020

Finished Recently
Honey Springs
Zulu on the Ramparts
First Battle of Britain
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
Too little....
How big is your game collection?
125-140
About Me
Tread Head - now LESS hard of hearing. I love my hearing aid!
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
We are in a Blue Oyster Cult phase thanks to Jim. We saw them twice in as many days - Thursday at the Rams Head in Annapolis (a great bar by the way) and Friday again at the Chameleon Club. Guess who caught the guitar pic from the BOC lead singer, Buck Dharma.

IRAN's "ELECTION" Obama Official Refuses to Condemn Brutality

A State Department official refuses to so much as condemn the regime's violent crackdown on democracy.

This is the "new JFK"? I rather liked the old one better:

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
This much we pledge—and more.

To those old allies whose cultural and spiritual origins we share, we pledge the loyalty… Continue

I see that you enjoy the quality of the Ici counters:

Well, I am on Vista and I need to change the properties of the shortcut to "XP" compatible.
I am not too worried, PZ was a great game when it came out and I liked it a lot, yet right now I am in Holland trying to capture bridges in order to invade the Rhur bassin and the Gerrrrmans are not too cooperatives about helping me build a HIGHWAY TO THE REICH. So PG might be on the back burner for a while.
BTW, I like your picture on your page, called "Dinner". That simulates a realistic situation!
Thank you for the interest
Sincerely,
GHWY

Smith's shoulder seems fine and his arm was definitely fine on Sunday. He seems to have a solid connection with Crabtree, so I'm interested to see where this will get us this season.

This is a cdg based on the game Twilight Struggle. It also has a battlecard system similar to We the People. It's a free game that you can download here: http://social.consimworld.com/profiles/blogs/final-1989-rules-cards-and-map

My guess is that 34R1 overrides the parent section 33L4. 34R1 states "A friendly naval unit may attempt to detect any enemy naval unit that is within its Surface (or Sub-Surface, for submarines) Detection Range. The player announces the detection ...
