Good group idea, Manabu! Started a PBEM campaign game last night. We will be starting a FTF game using Adam's now scenario (2nd day start) in a couple of weeks.

I started playing ASL a couple years ago. Not like old school ex-SLers. Without SK, not sure I would have commited to full ASL. In short, playing both full ASL and SK are pretty fun. So far, in SK3 scenarios, I like S24 and S25 (guess what, I won th…

Ah, but those ASLSK games are still so good, aren't they? I play ASL too, but love these scenarios and the streamlined system. Thanks for telling us about your playing of this particular scenario!

Won the game after Russians concede at the end of T4. Because of numbers of unfortunate and ill-timed DRs, their manpower was down and anti-AFV capability was neutralized (BT recalled, KV-2's MA malfed, HS with MTR rolled 12 in MC, etc). German tank…

I got a spam comment yesterday. I guess it's been done by some kind of programmed robot. Hoping they would be kept minimum.

This sight is a great idea, but I do seem to be getting more spam in my email box now though.

I really love to watch pictures in which people are playing wargames. I would upload if I have a chance.

Yup, didn't know anyone actually still listened to Blue Oyster Cult untill I joined.

The uploading of photos is a blast here than in CSW forum....I never figure that out nicely.

And videos of one's favourites too! You get to know more your buddy wargamers in a 3-D way.

Before the main board went down this was a nice quiet place to do those things. Now it is much busier, posts and replys move down the right sidebar much faster. I have to adjust how I keep track of things. I like it though, I like that people can p…

Tony, thanks for your comment. Out of necessity, I joined CSW SNS. And I found something I did not get in CSW forums. That is more personal conversation with wargamers. This SNS is very useful to make wargamer friends all over the world. The forums…

ASLSK AAR, S25: Early Battles #2

Won the game after Russians conceded at the end of T4. Because of numbers of unfortunate and ill-timed DRs, their manpower was down and anti-AFV capability was neutralized (BT recalled, KV-2's MA malfed, a HS with MTR rolled 12 in MC, etc). German tanks turned both Russian's franks, encircling their infantries. They can't retreat to the final defence line, but stand against massive German infrantries and HE shots from AFVs.

This is another interesting SK scenario. The KV-2 is invincible, and Ge… Continue

Re: Look at the bright side

I joined CSW SNS, bacause of the CSW forum shutdown (I was not that intrested in, when CSW SNS started). Guess lots of similar cases out there. So, having shutdowned the forums was not that bad in a way. Hoping they would be back sooner though. CSW Forums and SNSs would complement each other what they are good at. Very curious about how many memberships we could reach.

ASLSK S25: Early Battles

Currently playing ASLSK S25: Early Battles on VASL. T1-T3 has been done. I am playing German, and my opponent Russian. Russians had been hit several times with ill-timed high and low DRs. The BT tank was recalled at T2, MA of the KV-2 was malfunctioned at the bottom of 3rd. A HS with MTR was eliminated by rolling 12 on MC. A Crew with INF Gun routed away, abandoning the Gun. On the other hand, German FGs with 20 and 30 FP rolled 2, resulting instantaneous KIAs on Russian SQs, reducing manpower o… Continue

Yes, he does. Or trying to read what in my son's mind with his pshychic power, maybe.

About Speed Racer, I did not aware when I was a kid, but I can tell now that the production staffs really loved cars.

I don't remember the Masked Riders from when I was growing up; we had Ultraman, and for animation, 8th Man and of course Speed Racer. My friends and I were addicted to all of them.

Ultraman does look as though he's going to squeeze your son's head though.

Thanks for your comment. It was taken when he visited a shoping mall nearby. We took photos and shook hands. Ultramen (and also Masked Riders) had been my my heros too. In most of my childhood photos, I am posing like them (with my sister and friends).

No they're not, not Super Bowl winners. Some members of the defense need a major attitude adjustment too, especially about standards and excuses.

The Steelers used an onside kick today, and almost snatched defeat from the jaws of mediocrity too. It's a big reason why Roethlisberger could throw for 500 yards and still need the last play of the game to win, by one point.

Hold the line by Worthington games. A GREAT simple revolutionary war game, similar to Command and Colors, but uses Action Points instead of cards. You can move any unit you want with your points. (Similar to Conflict of heroes)
