My life-long friend came into possession of Avalon Hill's D-Day (60's print, I think) and introduced me to this wonderful hobby. We were about 13 or 14, I think, and it's now my passion.
Your favorite game(s):
The ASL series; Critical Hit's ATS; The Gamers are always good and lately Lock 'n Load's stuff, OCS
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Operation Michael (SGS); CC:Europe, OCS Guderian's Blitzkrieg II - all solo. Managed to squeeze an extra table into my study!
What game(s) have you played recently?
ASL, OCS, CC:Med.

Welcome! I also started with D-Day, at 11 y/o in 1974. Great memories trying to figure out what all those symbols meant. Just setting up the game was fun for me - pathological thing, I guess :-)
