I've had three comments over the last week. Wouldn't mind 'em, provided the lovely lady in question could give me a few pointers on winning with the Imperialists at Breitenfeld...
Like yourself, I just deleted them from My Page.
Agreed - really look forward to the PC version. I played pretty much exclusively three of the LnL board versions for the past year, and suddenly discovered recently that I liked ASLSK much better as a boardgame. But I'll pick up LnL:HoS as soon as...
Yes Dave/Jeff H. runs the PAASL group. I'll send you an email later tonight on the NIASL group. If your south of Chicago it's a long drive up north Waconda is about 10 minutes from my house and when I drive down to Tinley Park it takes almost 2 hours plus tolls. If you don't mind hit me at dlazov@comcast.net and I'll send you some info.
Which part of Chicagoland area you in? I know of 2 ASL groups NIASL (Northern Illinois - Waconda) and PAASL (Palatine Area) the NIASL is meeting on the 24th of July. The PAASL is meeting either the 10th or the 16th.
Let me know which area you are located in.

About Me
I was born and raised in California. I moved to Chicago at the end of 2006. I was exposed to wargaming about 15 years ago whilst in college, but I haven't touched a board wargame since that time. Recently I was feeling burned out on PC gaming and thought this would be a good opportunity to try and start back up with face-to-face wargaming (or other games that may interest me).

If you are writing about GMT's Eastern Front Series, check out that Group. This is for all the other games on the topic--strategic, operational, and tactical!
Hi fellas,
Noticed the release of Austerlitz this past week, very excited about this! I am plugging away at my Kursk campaign right now, quite the process.
Thanks for the review Eric and congrats on the book/journal Michael !
I don't have ASL nor am I a big East Front fan but I really appreciate everything you guys are doing for the hobby.
The game was finally started on Saturday. We're playing Scenario 2 of the original game, using the original rules, including all the optional rules listed in the rule book.
We were both VERY rusty, so it took about 2 1/2 hours just to set up, sin...
