If your south of Chicago it's a long drive up north Waconda is about 10 minutes from my house and when I drive down to Tinley Park it takes almost 2 hours plus tolls. - Which part of Chicagoland area you in? I know of 2 ASL groups NIASL (Northern Illinois - Waconda) and PAASL (Palatine Area) the NIASL is meeting on the 24th of July. The PAASL is meeting either the 10th or the 16th.

- I was born and raised in California. I moved to Chicago at the end of 2006. I was exposed to wargaming about 15 years ago whilst in college, but I haven't touched a board wargame since that time. Recently I was feeling burned out on PC gaming and thought this would be a good opportunity to try and start back up with face-to-face wargaming (or other games that may interest me).

I don't have ASL nor am I a big East Front fan but I really appreciate everything you guys are doing for the hobby.
The game was finally started on Saturday. We're playing Scenario 2 of the original game, using the original rules, including all the optional rules listed in the rule book.
