- I think Risk and Axis & Allies probably represented my first forays. I kept buying wargames as a kid, but never had any opponents (or the mindset for solitaire play). Probably the first wargame that I played seriously was RAF, as it was a true solo game, so I didn't feel like I had to be schizophrenic to enjoy it.

No I have never played AH Russian Front. This is a fourth version of AH's Russian Campaign.
Are there any replay articles available on line about AH's Russian Front?
You may know this already but Schwerpunkt's , the title, is a computor game about the entire Russian campaige of WW2. It does use hexes but I hope you have a large screen.
