Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
I think Risk and Axis & Allies probably represented my first forays. I kept buying wargames as a kid, but never had any opponents (or the mindset for solitaire play). Probably the first wargame that I played seriously was RAF, as it was a true solo game, so I didn't feel like I had to be schizophrenic to enjoy it.
Your favorite game(s):
Europe Engulfed, Twilight Struggle, Power Grid, Command & Colours: Ancients

I've also been very impressed recently with A Victory Lost, Fire in the Sky, and Combat Commander

You'v got OPERATION BARBAROSSA published by Matrix. It is inspired by Panzer General. It is a turn based, Hex based, simple, attractive and challenging enough for a beginner. I think it is a good start. I have the game, played it and liked it. Koo...

Robert, if you're talking about AAR's (after action reports), I'm sure boardgamegeek has some. Go to www.boardgamegeek.com and on their main window, just type in the game you're interested in. They'll then show you different game covers if there a...
