Hello again! Anyone interested in playing HotS, CR, R3, or any other Columbia block game via Vassal? Real-time mode is preferred, due to the interactive nature of the games. Also using Skype to add the voice chat function. Skype name is yankeeap.

Got to make two recent meetings of the CCWA and ahd a great time. Last time out got in two games of Small World.

Played Caesar's Gallic War for the first time at EllisCon. I was favorably impressed by it. It's very much in the Columbia Games tradition despite being published by Worthington Games.

JSOTF-N was also interesting, but in a much better way than it was for V Corps. The climate up north was batter, too. It was merely awful. instead of being hellish.

Empress Augusta Bay scenario/session using War at Sea

It's possible to closely match the order of battle for this evenly matched battle of Nov. 2, 1943, using War at Sea ships. Darkness rules should be used.

The US Order of battle is pretty easy.

About half way thru ' The Left Hand of Darkness' by Ursula Le Guin...seems quite different to her other stuff. Finished her latest 'Lavinia' just recently and that was far more typical of her style and theme ..also the 'Consolation of Philosophy' ...
