McNamara civilian tenure at ford featured the Edsel. The showed people a book and let them pick the best grill, the best roofline, the best fenders, etc., thinking that would make a superlative car. We all know how that worked out. For youngsters...

Ok. Sorry, but since it was all in caps, I thought it was a play on the close spelling. Not meaning to be the grammar police. The first couple times I heard Borg's name, I thought it was a typo. Looking at the floor by my bed, I have a Berg game ...

Borg? I mean I have games from both, but is this an inside joke?

Cat looks miffed that you're not petting it. I have a black cat with the same white chest blaze, but no stripes on his tail. He's sleeping by me on the couch as I write this. He's not a lap cat, but he loves attantion and he stays close. I live on...

Twenty years in the military and two college degrees prepared me for my current job as doorman, waiter, and personal assistant to a cat.

I wish Rummy would join his partner in crime, McNamara, in Forest Lawn. Both were smug, incompetants.

I have the 1975 edition of Joy of Cooking, and it's old school, taking one from boiling water to complex recipes. In the 1997 edition, they "dumbed it down" because they didn't think modern cooks would take the time and care of previous generation...

Tony, let's give the project to the defense department procurement folks. The electric cat fence would be built by General Dynamics, cost 300 million dollars, take eight years to develop, and wouldn't work. Colored pencils are something you might ...

I need to proofread my posts. Errant apostrophes, bizzare spelling - good grief. Schooy instead of school? How can you hit a y rather than an l? They're not even near one another.

Per cats (what a terrible pun), years ago a buddy and I played Europa's Case White (GDW, Poland 1939) with it's tall stacks of counters. Having lives, we played the game over several sessions. He had a unique way to keep Popcorn, his young, playfu...

Per the legal issues, MJ was tried in criminal court where the defendant must be proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Thinkk of it as proving there's a 90 to 95 percent chance that he did what he's accused of. The jury might think there was a...

I used the old-school (1970's) Joy of Cooking once and made two coconut-cream pies. Following the recipe, I scratch made the crust, chilled the beaters and bowl, then whipped the cream, and used no substitutes. They were the best pies I've ever ha...

Indeed - nothing like getting ambushed in a Hummer with no doors since they were but cloth anyways! I keep my collection trimmed to some degree. Ever look at Panzer Digest?

Re: Troop Quality - I've reversed my position on the issue of whether or not support units affect "troop quality". We are now also playing that any unit with a parenthesized defense strength does NOT factor in to the troop quality calculation. As ...

This is a cdg based on the game Twilight Struggle. It also has a battlecard system similar to We the People. It's a free game that you can download here: http://social.consimworld.com/profiles/blogs/final-1989-rules-cards-and-map
