Just got WHERE THERE IS DISCORD in the mail last week, a solitaire game on the Falklands War. I wasn't prepared for how big and beautiful this game is. Wow. The focus is on the naval and air side of it--the goal for the solitaire/Brit player is ge...

Hi, sorry not to get back to you. Been bouncing around, visiting family, but we'll be doing less of that as school approaches. Still interested in setting up a game?

Hi Andy. Dunkirk is in Western NY and strangely it is nowhere near what makes up most of New York state. It's about half way between Buffalo and Erie PA, on Lake Erie.

Once in awhile, my daughter lives in Brighton. I may be going to see the Redsox with her later this month. I lived most of my life in Berkshire county Mass.

I live and work in Newton. But it's a quick drive downtown, if there's someplace there you want to meet. LnL sounds like it's fast and fun. If you don't mind teaching me the system, I'm game.

Sundays won't be good for a while. Some evenings are good for me. How long might it take to play a game, considering I'm new to the system?

I love the French!

Actually I've been back into board/wargaming for a couple of years now, and really have enjoyed the hobby! I've been thinking about a few things lately so here are my rambling thoughts.

1. I really like game settings besides the Bulge or Stalingrad. To me it seems like people are way too focused on these battles. Like 15 of the top twenty war games on BGG seem to be about these battles. Jeez...

2. I really like French games. I'm finding the rules, art and subject matter the French guys produci… Continue

Contra Vs. Sandinista

I don't know why - but now I'd really like to see a LNL module based on this - I know it won't sell but would be "pure" infantry combat. Maybe I'm crazy but I find it interesting. Maybe even other "brush" wars of the Cold War. I've been thinking of it a lot lately.

I know some folks find it tasteless - but I'm interested to know what really happened, and I think the men and women who fought and died on both sides need to have the world remember.

Am I wrong?

FTF gaming

I had a FTF session after a long drought a few weeks ago (got in a couple games of Eisenbach Gap and started Hold The Line). And all I can say is WOW is it fun. What a great hobby...

Gotta try and get a game group together.

I think I'm done with computer games....

I tried to play a bunch of games - but now that I'm back into war games (and other table top gaming) I just can't play computer games.

I work on a PC all day at work, and lately it seems all I want to do is to read and if I get a chance - look at or play with my board games.

WOW... At least now I can save money. Insttad of a new PC every year it can go to games....

What happened...

On Monday night Tehran and Konark fell - a good turn for the Reds. Having Konark is especially sweet as I've got two airbases to fly in and I'll put 3 MIG 23's on intercept on one base and two MIG 23's and a Backfire on offensive on the other. The...

You'v got OPERATION BARBAROSSA published by Matrix. It is inspired by Panzer General. It is a turn based, Hex based, simple, attractive and challenging enough for a beginner. I think it is a good start. I have the game, played it and liked it. Koo...
